Our Philosophy
There is a great feeling of space on our bright, leafy campus which enhances the teaching and learning which exists in
the school. The atmosphere is open and friendly. The buildings are all linked by pathways and grassed areas, and the
whole campus is surrounded by woodland and open countryside.
KVN houses a beautiful “Botanic garden” with over 80 identified species of plants. We believe that nature is a powerful
teacher, and there are so many things that kids can learn hands-on in the schoolyard that they cannot learn sitting in a
classroom. Hands-on outdoor environmental education offers an opportunity to improve academic performance in our school
and provides a solution for reversing the trends of Childhood Obesity and ‘nature deficit disorder’ that are afflicting
a generation.
Every student is an enthusiastic scientist in the making, and they spend part of their school time in ‘Laboratory”. They
try to explore, probe and experiment to find the truth behind facts of life , to solve problems, to fend off madness and
chaos that result out of ignorance and preconceived notions. Laboratories are stimulating places for Science students
and since our children need to practice their hands on experiments, the Physics, Chemistry & Biology Labs at KVN cater
to the needs of CBSE experiments. As many as 40 students can perform a wide range of experiments simultaneously while
the teachers and lab assistants are always at hand to provide constant supervision and guidance for optimum results.
Projects can be developed of a very superior standard thereby encouraging investigative analysis and reasoning.
KVN’s “State of the art Library’ offers the students a bottomless treasure trove to loose themselves into the wonderful
world of books of all genre.
We provide daily ‘Transport Facility’ for student’s pick and drop. We have a fleet of 20 buses plying throughout
Thrissur. Our school buses are safe, well maintained and child friendly. Each bus is driven by a well trained driver and
has the presence of a care giver to escort the child.
The multipurpose ‘Auditorium’ at KVN provides an elegant, functional and versatile space for assemblies, competitions,
workshops, concerts, lectures and gatherings of all kinds, as well as for a variety of indoor games.
The industry today seeks not just knowledge workers, but action oriented leaders who adapt to changing situations with
ease. At KVN, the infrastructure has been designed with exceptional facilities for sports as well as recreational
activities.
We at KVN pride ourselves in ‘Sports Facilities’ that include a beautiful football ground, basketball court & volley
ball court.
